The tab "Zoom and travel" is use to define the sequence plan :
The Zoom and travel tab is made by 2 parts :
The plans works in two parts, first a mobile part (from previous plan to current plan, fixe part) and then the fixe part (For the first plan of the sequence, the mobile part is always set to 0 second).
The plans are display vertically from top to bottom. Each plan (with the mobile and fixe part) is shown by a picture of the fixe part.
The managing of plans is realised by the two icons of the small tool bar located just over the plan list :
The configuration part of selected plan is composed by to sub-part :
- The cropping part
- The animation part
Cropping plan
The cropping of plan is use to select a sub part of full image to define it as plan.
The cropping is defined by 3 properties :
- The zoom level : Is the zoom factor in percent to apply
- The X position : Define the start position from the left board of source image to use
- The Y position : Define the start position from the top board of source image to use
- It's possible to define those three value directly
- It's possible to define those three properties by using the button.
In this case, The image cropping box
appear.
Notice :
The zoom, X position and Y position can be shown in percent or in pixel. This is define in the
Configuration box.
Couples of static
and mobile shots
Shots work by
couples, at first the static shot then the mobile shot (for the 1st
couple of shots of the sequence, the mobile shot is always set to 0
seconds).
- The static shot consists of the refocused of the image of the
sequence (limit the display of the image by selecting only a part).
- The mobile shot is the animation which allows to pass from the
previous static shot to the following static shot. The animation of the
mobile shot is automatically calculated by Videoporama according to
duration specified for the mobile shot.
Animation sample :
Let us take a sequence of type photo with the photo of the park above.
For this sequence, let us define three couples of shots.
Couple |
Static
and mobile shots definitions |
Result
annimation |
1st |
Mobile shot:
no mobile shot because it's the 1st couple.
Static shot: the image is not refocused: we select the whole image. The
duration of the static shot is fixed to 3 seconds. |
There is of
no annimation but display of a static shot of 3 seconds showing the
whole photo. |
2nd |
Mobile shot
of a duration of 4 seconds.
Static shot refocussed on the statue and of a duration of 3 seconds. |
There is at
first an animation of zoom during which the image is gradually enlarged
to fix it only to the statue. This animation lasts 4 seconds and is
followed by a static shot of 3 seconds showing the statue. |
3rd |
Mobile shot
of a duration of 3 seconds.
Static shot refocussed on the walkers and of a duration of 2 seconds. |
