Transitions in Videoporama
Transition is the animation to go from
a sequence to the following one.
Transition options
- Transition speed : To specify the transition's' lenght. The
possible choices are :
Very slow
4 seconds
Slow
2 seconds
Medium
1 second
Medium +
0,8 second
Fast
0,4 second
Vary fast
0,2 second
Notice :
The total time of thhe montage is not equal to the sum of all sequence time, because of the transition. The transition time is common on 2 sequences (the current one and the following one).
Two sequences of 10 secondes with a transition of 1 seconde between them will have a total time of 19 seconds (and not 20 seconds) !
- Transition type : To define the type of transition. The available
transitions in Videoporama are :
No transition :
Pass to the following sequence is instantaneous (no animation).
Fade :
The crossing to next sequence is made by a fading effect of the next image in the current one.
Zoom in :
The new image appear on the current one by growing until take the entire place of current image.
Available options : 
Zoom out :
The current image disappear by ungrowing until not be shown, the following image is display on background.

Slide :
The following image slide over the current one
Available options : 
Cube deformation :
The following image is growing by one side and the current image is ungrowing by the other side.
Available options : 
Push :
The following image push the current one to take her place
Available Options : 
Luma transform :
The following image appear on current image by following a luma image (image in grey level from black to white)
Available options (currently) :
- Transition option : Allow you to define the option to apply on selected transition type (if needed).

It's possible to leave Videoporama define randomly the transitions by selecting transition random in the configuration dialog box of videoporama (It's the default configuration). |
Special cases : The first and last transition
The first transition (transition in)
is always made with :
- As first image : a black image
- As transition type : Fade
- As transitionspeed : medium (1 second)
- As second image : a black image
- As transition type : The transition type define in the last sequence
- As transition speed : The transition speed define in the last sequence
