Steer this fruitloving snake around the screen, and pick up fruit.
This program is my fourth implementation of the snake game, written for Unix and X11. Previous versions were written for MS-DOS.
Move the snake around the screen and eat food. The snake grows in length as you eat. Avoid hitting the fence, eating lethal mushrooms and rotten food, and biting your own tail.
Now and then a slim-pill will bounce around. If you eat this, you will get shorter, and you will gain bonus points for every length you loose. The bonus is also given when a round is over.
When food starts blinking, it's about to rot. Rotten food is poisonous, and thus uneatable. As long as it blinks, it can still be eaten.
Oh, yes - I almost forgot: You may be visited by the evil headbanger. Take my advice and run away from him before he hits you in the head! He won't stay long.

Snake4 est un clone de snake.
Dirigez ce serpent addict aux fruits autour de l'écran, et ramassez les fruits. Le serpent se développe en longueur à mesure qu'il mange.
Méfiez-vous des champignons mortels, des fruits pourris, et des bestioles (headbangers).
Snake est un jeu d'adresse et de réflexes dans lequel vous contrôlez un serpent affamé devant manger les friandises comestibles en évitant les friandises toxiques, les murs, sa propre queue et celle de ses concurrents.
Une friandise comestible avalée rapporte des points, allonge la queue du serpent et augmente sa vitesse, une friandise toxique l'élimine.

Le graphisme a pris des rides mais il est fonctionnel et complet avec en plus des bestioles qui vous poursuivent.
Pas mal.
🕵️ Test (1.0.14):
Dommage que le fond d'écran ne puisse être modifié : sur ma configuration il apparaît en blanc, ce qui ne va pas très bien avec les bordures noires et rectangulaires (tiles) du serpent.
Pour le reste il est très bien.
