Construction Simulator: Gold Edition includes the full version of the simulation hit, all previously released expansions, and more!
19 realistic construction vehicles, including original machines and trucks manufactured by Liebherr, MAN, and STILL, as well as various trailers for the true-to-life MAN tractor truck are all included together in one package for the first time in the Gold Edition. The already extensive motor pool of the core game has been significantly expanded with the Liebherr LB 28 drilling rig, complete with new functions, as well as the Liebherr LR 1300 crawler crane, the Liebherr 150 EC-B flat top crane, and the escort vehicle for heavy loads.
In this game, the developers have paid special attention to creating a game with a realistic feel, whether the player is working on projects or operating vehicles. You can, for example, operate a digger with two joysticks using SAE controls! Common gamepads and steering wheels are also supported.
Explore an expansive, freely navigable world with various towns, fields, and even a highway – alone or with friends in multiplayer mode! If you are successful, then even larger and more lucrative contracts will become available, as well as a new company premises and even more exciting opportunities. Adding to the more than 200 missions included in the original version of the game, the Gold Edition includes additional highlights such as a much requested bridge construction mission and various high-rise building projects!
Are these vehicles and missions not enough for you? The developer weltenbauer has also included their own Construction Kit, which is a powerful tool that will allow you to create your own game content that can be comfortably managed with Steamworks.
The barrier to entry into the world of modding is not particularly high – all you really need is a 3D graphics program like Blender or Gimp, as well as the free version of Unity3D.

Gameplay
Gameplay begins with tutorials where the player learn to drive the basic heavy machinery of the game, including trucks and excavators. As the game goes on, the player can select different contracts, to build several types of buildings, and manage his contractor company. The player can purchase new vehicles and equipment, and even hire new workers. The game features open world, and the player unlock the locations as he discovers them. Fast-travel is available in certain moments of the game and between missions.

Le parc de véhicules déjà imposant du jeu principal a été fortement agrandi avec la foreuse Liebherr LB 28 complète et dotée de nouvelles fonctions, ainsi que la grue sur chenilles Liebherr LR 1300, la grue à tour flat top Liebherr 150 EC-B et le véhicule d'escorte pour les charges lourdes.
Pour ce jeu, les développeurs se sont efforcés de créer une sensation réaliste, que le joueur soit en train de travailler sur les projets ou de manœuvrer des engins. Par exemple, vous pouvez manœuvrer une pelleteuse à l'aide de deux joysticks avec les commandes SAE ! Les volants et manettes ordinaires sont également pris en charge.
En solo ou avec des amis grâce au mode multijoueur, explorez un vaste monde dans lequel vous pouvez vous déplacer librement et qui comprend de nombreuses villes, de nombreux terrains, et même une autoroute ! Si votre activité est florissante, des contrats plus gros et plus juteux vous seront proposés, de même que des nouveaux locaux d'entreprise ou encore des opportunités plus excitantes. En plus des 200 missions et plus incluses dans la version originale du jeu, la Gold Edition comprend des caractéristiques supplémentaires telles qu'une mission de construction de pont très demandée et de nombreux projets de gratte-ciel !
Ces véhicules et ces missions ne vous suffisent pas ? Chez weltenbauer, les développeurs ont également inclus leur propre kit de construction, un ouil puissant qui vous permettra de créer votre propre contenu dans le jeu et de l'intégrer à Steamworks.
La barrière n'est pas particulièrement difficile à franchir pour créer vos propres mods. Tout ce qu'il vous faut, c'est un logiciel de modélisation 3D comme Blender ou Gimp ainsi qu'une version gratuite d'Unity 3D.

Construction Simulator 2016 est sorti le 19 Juin 2015 sur Steam, mais pour l'instant pas de version Linux, et les critiques Steam (44 revues) sont pour la plupart négatives - contrairement à la version 2015.
