Story
A blind girl braves her anxiety and goes on a journey to find her only friend surrounded by an unseen world full of life waiting to be revealed.
Beyond eyes shows you the imaginative world of Rae, a 10 year-old girl, as she ventures outside her familiar surroundings in search of a fat cat named Nani.
Rae isn't like most other girls. She lost her eyesight in an accident with fireworks when she was just a toddler and the experience left her traumatized. Fearing loud noises and public places, she hardly ever leaves her house, preferring to spend her free time in her special garden where everything smells pleasant and all is nice.
Some people might feel sorry for Rae, being as isolated as she is, but Rae herself is perfectly content with her life especially after befriending a gorgeous full-figured stray feline she names Nani.
When Nani goes missing Rae finally gains the courage to go outside for the first time on an wonderful and life changing journey to find her missing friend.
The world outside is frightning and unfamiliar but, with the guidance of the player, Rae learns to overcome her fears and finds beauty and possible new friends outside of her golden cage.

Gameplay
The game is to showcase how a ten-year-old girl who has lost her sight due to an accident with fireworks, named Rae, interacts with the world around her. The world initially appears to be all white, but certain objects will be highlighted when Rae touches them. Sound will be an important element of the game, giving the player an idea of where certain objects are located. Challenges will include deciding if the sound of cars is distant enough to safely cross the road.

L'histoire
Une fille aveugle brave son anxiété et part en voyage pour trouver son seul ami, entourée d'un monde invisible plein de vie qui n'attend que d'être révélé.
Beyond eyes (Au-delà des yeux) vous montre le monde imaginaire de Rae, une fillette de 10 ans, alors qu'elle s'aventure au delà de son environnement familier à la recherche d'un gros chat nommé Nani.
Rae n'est pas comme la plupart des autres filles. Elle a perdue la vue dans un accident avec des feux d'artifice alors qu'elle n'était qu'une enfant en bas âge et cette expérience l'a laissée traumatisée. Craignant les bruits forts et les lieux publics, elle ne quitte guère sa maison, préférant passer son temps libre dans son jardin particulier où tout est beau et à une odeur agréable.
Certaines personnes pourraient se sentir désolées pour Rae, isolée comme elle l'est, mais Rae elle-même est parfaitement satisfaite de sa vie, surtout après s'être liée d'amitié avec un magnifique félin vagabond et bedonnant qu'elle nomme Nani.
Lorsque Nani disparaît, Rae trouve pour la première fois le courage de se rendre à l'extérieur pour retrouver son ami disparu, dans un voyage merveilleux qui change la vie.
Le monde extérieur est effrayant et inconnu, mais, guidée par le joueur, Rae apprend à surmonter ses peurs et trouve de la beauté et de possibles nouveaux amis à l'extérieur de sa cage dorée.
