============= | Powerball | ============= Author: Dan Hetrick (dhetrick@gmail.com) Powerball is a "remix" of the open source OpenArena, which is based on the Quake 3 Arena source code. Powerball is also open source; the source code is released under NO license, as it contains a lot of code found in tutorials, forum posts, and websites. The source code is included in the install (it's in the folder named "source"). INSTALLING Powerball Unzip "Powerball-0.33.zip" into your OpenArena installation directory. PLAYING Powerball Run OpenArena, and click "MODS" on the main menu. Select "Powerball", and click "LOAD". Play OpenArena as normal, only now with the new Powerball weapons, etc. COMPILING Powerball The source code is included in the standard installation; look in the directory named "source" wherever you installed Powerball. All developement was done under Linux, using ioq3-oa as a base. Copy everything in the "source" folder into the "code" directory in the extracted ioq3-oa source code. Compile as normal.
