Un moteur dérivé de id Tech 3 privilégiant les améliorations au détriment de la compatibilité, par Eugene C. (ec- aka Cyrax).

Quake3e est un fork du moteur ioQuake3, lui-même un port source du moteur id Tech 3 d'id Software (Quake 3 Arena, Call of Duty, Quake Live, ...), c'est à dire un moteur dérivé, amélioré et compatible avec ce dernier. Par rapport au dernier moteur d'id Software, il corrige plusieurs bugs, et apporte quelques améliorations de performance et fonctionnalités (voir la section "Features").

Il s'agit d'un client amélioré pour jouer aux mods de Quake 3 Arena, introduisant de nombreux correctifs et améliorations en comparaison de la dernière version officielle 1.32c d'id Software et avec juste un petit problème (pas de support PB)

This is improved client for playing Quake 3 Arena mods, introduces many fixes and improvements comparing to last official ID's 1.32c version and with just one little issue (no PB support)
