Description [fr]

Description [en]

John Smith (generic name, player will insert there own) is a man in trouble. John awakens in a strange place. After being greeted by the on board artificial intelligence John Smith finds he now has electronic implants and can read and understand the language he’s hearing. The ship’s computer introduces herself to him. John asks what’s going on, and she explains that she is essentially “dying”, and needs help. John is reluctant at first, why would he help this lifeless robot? He quickly realizes HEIDI is not asking for a favor, but will help John if he cooperates willingly. Step one, her “skin” – the ship’s heat shield is damaged. John needs to send probes down to nearby planets to gather the raw elements to make a new heat shield. Now comes HEIDI’s memory core. John must commandeer one of the space pirates tanks and fight his way to the research laboratory located nearby to get the memory crystals he needs for HEIDI.

The Space pirates are all robots, and their logic programs are completely linear. Before the assault can take place HEIDI needs her weapons system restored. To repair the weapons, John will need much more complex components and equipment. Finally, there are HEIDI’s singularity drive technology. Much like the weapons, John will need raw materials, components, and special devices. Some of them can only be obtained from the Space Pirates. If John fails in his dealings with No-RAM and the pirates, he’ll have to destroy them.

• Once John has collected all the of required molecules to repair the heat shield he does so from the computer terminal in the Engineering bay where HEIDI gives him the next task…
• The Space Pirates are known to be the best “memory crystal gardeners” in the quadrant, but they are also simulants: cyborgs who delight in torturing and devouring humanoids!
• Here he encounters No-RAM, leader of the pirates (he’s a Read Only sort of guy!) If John fails in his dealings with No-RAM and the pirates, he’ll have to destroy them.
• There is even a element that is practically unobtainable that must be acquired after getting the location of a abandoned research station to collect the three pieces and when all the components and parts are brought together, they have to be put together by Nick The Nose back on Mara Veermara space station.
• Nick The Nose confronts John on his own ship having snuck aboard before leaving for the final assault on his own people whom banished him.

John Smith (generic name, you can choose your own) is a man in trouble. He’s lost everything he has in the Stock Market, his house is in danger of being washed away due to erosion. All he has is a life insurance policy. Depressed and despondent, he decides to end it all. Climbing to the top of his office building. A split second before he hits the ground, a wormhole opens up, and he vanishes! John awakens in a strange place. It’s clearly a high-tech world, but he can’t read any of the writing or understand the language he’s hearing. What’s going on; is he dead and in Hell?

Incognito is meant to deliver simplified versions of gameplay from different genres and bring them together into a game that’s epic in scale and requires different genre skills but is easy for the average hardcore gamer to jump into and play from beginning to end.

These genres change at each “zoom level” of the game:

• When you’re on foot, it’s a First-Person Shooter with RPG elements
• When you’re in your ship, it’s a Space Trading/Combat Simulation
• When you’re in low orbit of a planet, it’s a Simple Real-Time Strategy Game
• When you’re in your hovertank, it’s a Tank Combat Game

In order to progess through each Episode, you’ll have to conquer challenges at each level, gathering information on foot, exploring in your ship, landing on uninhabited planets and establishing bases, and on hostile planets, invading a planet’s surface defenses in the hovertank.
