GÑU Chess est un jeu d'échecs bénéficiant d'une magnifique interface en 3D avec des animations toutes aussi superbes (modélisé sous Blender).

A Multiplatform 3D chess game (with animations) made with OGRE3D & Blender.

How to play

This game follows the rules of classical chess.
At this moment the selection is made with the left button of the mouse and the movement is executed with the right button.
The camera can be moved using the right/left keys or pressing the middle button of the mouse while moving it left or right.

Installation [fr]

INSTALLATION :
En console dans son répertoire source lancez successivement :
$ cmake .
$ make

Test [fr]

Commentaires généraux :
• J'espère que son développement va se poursuivre pour aboutir à une version Linux fonctionnelle. La vidéo est vraiment éloquente. Ce pourrait-être l'une des plus belles interfaces de jeux d'échecs sous Linux.
• La licence est à éclaircir (voir : https://bitbucket.org/gnuez/g-u-chess/src/bdb185669a9f5879da8e2cceb034fd4c82836e3b/License.txt?at=master) : est-ce seulement la licence de OGRE et CEGUI, ou est-ce aussi la licence du code et des données ?
