Description [fr]

Doom 3 BFG

No Rest for the Living".

No Rest for the Living".

and Doom II with the expansion No Rest for the Living, previously available for the Xbox 360.

The BFG Edition also features the ability to use the flashlight while holding a weapon, in the form of the so-called armor-mounted flashlight. The PC version of Doom 3: BFG Edition requires the Steam client and a valid Steam account for installation, play and achievements. The source code of Doom 3 BFG Edition's engine was released under the GNU General Public License in November 2012. id Software said they would not officially bring Doom 3 BFG to Linux, although an independent developer, Robert Beckebans, has.

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil:

In 2147, two years after the events of Doom 3, the UAC detects a strange signal from one of its Martian satellites, and consequently sends a team in to investigate. After this team finds an Artifact and the forces of Hell are alerted and begin a new invasion. The player, a marine combat engineer who discovers the hellish device, must fight his way through the base to reach the doctor, chased by demons. McNeil, an unseen character in Doom 3, was the whistleblower who notified counselor Elliot Swann and Jack Campbell of Malcolm Betruger's mysterious activities at the beginning of Doom 3.

The marine eventually finds her, and she tasks him with stopping the invasion by returning the Artifact to hell. In his journeys he defeats the three Hell Hunters (demons who were supposed to find the Artifact) and absorbs their powers into the ancient device.

The marine arrives in Hell and battles his way to Betruger, who has become the dragon-like Maledict. After some fighting, Betruger bites the marine, but before he can eat him, the marine shoves the Hellstone down Betruger's throat, causing him to dematerialize. Only his skull remains. The game ends with a bright white light, followed by McNeil's voice saying, "Marine?... Welcome home."

The Lost Mission:

The Lost Mission takes place in the mid-level called "Enpro Sector" while the Doom 3 marine is escaping from the Enpro sector at the end of the level. The player takes the role of the last surviving member of Bravo team, which was seen being ambushed by demons in Doom 3. The Bravo team survivor is contacted by Dr. Richard Meyers (voiced by Paul Eiding), a scientist working on teleportation experiments in Exis Labs, and asked to help Meyers destroy an experimental teleportation array that was captured by the demons and is currently held deep inside Hell. The array is potentially powerful enough to send an army of demons all the way to Earth, hence Meyer's desperation to destroy it. To achieve this goal, the marine must acquire the components necessary to activate the Exis Labs teleportation system, then travel to Hell in order to destroy the teleportation array. In the epilogue, the marine is teleported by Dr. Meyers back to Mars, the reinforcements from Earth arrive to search for another marine who is still missing, eventually they find him in the Delta Labs complex.
