Commander Stalin is a Soviet real time strategy game (RTS) based on Boswars.
In a RTS game, the player has to combat its enemies while running his war economy.
Everything run in so called real-time, in opposition to turn based games where the player always has to wait for his turn. The trick is to balance the effort put into building the economy and building and army to defend an attack the enemies.
The game is set in the Soviet Union ruled by Stalin. The player is Stalin. It must organize the state, industrialization and turn it into a major power. This should effectively manage their resources, creating a broad base of social support (workers), launching the existing industry and develop science and technology.
If you advance in the game remain in power as a great leader. But things do not end here. The Soviet Union is now a superpower and the shadow of World War threat to the world. Despite your peaceful intentions, you will be attacked by Nazi Germany. There's nothing you can do about it except defend.

Il utilise le moteur Stratagus. Il s'agit d'un Mod autonome de Bos Wars.

Commander Stalin est un jeu de stratégie en temps réel (RTS) sur l'union soviétique, basé sur Boswars.
Dans un RTS, le joueur doit combattre ses ennemis tout en menant son économie de guerre.
Tout se déroule en temps réel, par opposition aux jeux au tour par tour dans lesquels le joueur doit toujours attendre son tour. La difficulté consiste à équilibrer les efforts déployés pour mener à bien l'économie et les constructions avec ceux alloués à l'armée pour se défendre ou attaquer ses ennemis.
Le jeu prend place en Union soviétique, menée par Staline. Le joueur incarne Staline. Il doit organiser l'état, l'industrialiser et le transformer en une grande puissance. Ce qui implique de gérer efficacement les ressources, d'obtenir un large soutien de la base sociale (travailleurs), de lancer l'industrie existante et développer la science et la technologie.
L'objectif suivant sera de se maintenir au pouvoir en tant que grand leader. Mais les choses ne se terminent pas là. Une fois devenue une superpuissance, l'Union soviétique verra planer l'ombre d'une menace de guerre mondiale. En dépit de vos intentions pacifiques, vous serez attaqué par l'Allemagne nazie. Il n'y a rien que vous puissiez faire à ce sujet sauf la défendre.
